The Japanese collectibles company X-Plus Co., Ltd. has provided SciFi Japan with information and more than 80 daikaiju-sized photos of their giant monster figures scheduled for release in May 2019. The company`s official Shonen-Ric as X-Plus website offers Exclusives and Limited Editions with bonus features or extra pieces not available from other retailers, with shipping on some items also now available to customers in North America, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan. The standard "General Distribution" versions of the figures are sold by stores and online retailers, including SFJ sponsor Anime Jungle. Most X-Plus figures are recommended for fans and collectors ages 15 years and older.

Ghidorah was first envisioned with a blue body and wings of red, white and blue. While this was rejected in favor of the all over gold colorization, the unused concept was featured in some posters and promotional stills for the film.
