Since entering the human world, Yousei Teikoku have continued to evolve their unique style of gothic rock/heavy metal, even gaining the ability to fuse metal and anime songs. Seeking to use the power of music to remind humans of the existence of fairies and revive the Fairy Empire, Empress Yui and Takaha Tachibana established a 2-person unit called Yousei Teikoku Daisan Gungakutai (“Third Military Band of the Fairy Empire”) in Nagoya in 1997. After scouting out talent in the human world, they later added Nanami, Shiren, and Gight to their ranks. Fusing rock and heavy metal with elements of classical and techno music, they have created a heavy, aggressive style of music. In addition to providing music for anime and games, they also hold regular ceremonies (concerts) for their subjects (fans). In 2019, XiVa joined following the resignation of Shiren, and ryöga joined after Tachibana announced that he would withdraw from future live performances.
