Tsuburaya Productions' official web store, Ultraman World M78 ONLINE, is now taking pre-orders for the limited edition Ultraman (B Type) figure, part of the 1/6 scale Tokusatsu Series from CCP JAPAN.

This Ultraman (B Type) figure is inspired on the nighttime battle with Alien Zarab from ULTRAMAN Episode 18: BROTHER FROM ANOTHER PLANET (遊星から来た兄弟, Yūsei Kara Kita Kyōdai). This sequence was recreated in the hit movie SHIN ULTRAMAN (シン・ウルトラマン, Shin Urutoraman, 2022).

Ultraman is in his classic Spacium Beam pose, ready to fire his main weapon at his foe. The sculpture is based on the "B Type" Ultraman suit used in the Episodes 14-29 of the series, which many fans consider the best of the three suits from the show. Compared to the earlier "A Type," the B Type has a smoother face with no wrinkles, a more massive upper body, and pointed shoes.

One of the most notable features of this figure is its coloring. In order to recreate the look seen nighttime battle scenes, a bluish color is layered over the entire body. Shadow gradations have been added throughout to enhance the darker color scheme. In addition, a special colored gloss has been applied to the surface to recreate the reflection of moonlight on Ultraman's body.

The Ultraman figure also has a built-in LED light-up gimmick that can be turned on by pressing the switch on his abdomen. The figure's eyes cast a faint glow, which has been achieved by painting the eyes from the inside, and the light of the Color Timer on his chest changes from blue to flashing red.
