The visual fitness pop group "Lekkazan 3rd" (三代目レッカザン, Sandaime Lekkazan), known for their connection to Tsuburaya Music, have released their first record. The group's new music distribution is backed by Booming Co. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo/CEO Hidehiro Masuda), producers of the YouTube LIVE series NO. 1 BEAUTIFUL BODY CHANNEL: LEKKAZAN 3rd's EKUCHAN (NO.1美BODYチャンネル：三代目レッカザンのエクチャン, NO. 1 Bi Bodi Shanneru: Sandaime Rekkazan no Ekuchan), which boasts over 600 live broadcasts to date.
Lekkazan 3rd is a three-member fitness artist group based on the themes of beauty, music, and health. The members consist of SINH, the group leader in charge of “Literary Aesthetics,” KO-TA, in charge of “Body Makeup and Physical Aesthetics,” and SEAN, in charge of “Diet and Analytical Aesthetics." All members hold “NO.1 titles” in their respective fitness genres, making them a group of professional instructors. They have incorporated the essence of Japan's unique “visual-kei” culture, which features elaborate costumes, eccentric hairstyles and male makeup reminiscent of the “glam rock” of the David Bowie era.
For tokusatsu fans, Lekkazan 3rd are best known for their music from the Ultra Series, which includes songs for ULTRAMAN COSMOS VS. ULTRAMAN JUSTICE: THE FINAL BATTLE NEW CENTURY 2003 ULTRAMAN LEGEND: THE KING'S JUBILEE ULTRA GALAXY MEGA MONSTER BATTLE
The official artist visuals for Lekkazan 3rd will be supervised by Nobuto Yanagi, a hair and makeup artist and head of the BLEA Gakuen Group, a school that offers fashion, nail, and hair and makeup qualifications. For the color scheme, the costumes are based on the motifs created by the band's art supervisior, Kenichi Nakano, a French and Japanese painter known for his “expression of light particles.” The choreographer is Yuki, who has appeared in many music videos and TV shows for Japanese acts such as Namie Amuro, Kanjani∞, Toshihiko Tahara, and Ayumi Hamasaki. He was also involved in the production of the parody work NAOMI WATANABE: LADY GAGA "RAIN ON ME WITH ARIANA GRANDE" OFFICIAL PARODY and is a tour dancer and choreographer for the TOSHIHIKO TAHARA DOUBLE T TOUR.
On December 23rd, Lekkazan 3rd debuted their song "Hikigaeru" (ヒキガエル) - meaning Toad" - and held their first live performance in Shibuya, Tokyo; an event MC'd by Ultra Series voice actor Toshinkei Seki. The song was composed and produced by Prince of Comical, who previously composed of the popular song "Your Prince" (君の王子様, Kimi no Oji-sama-kun) by the vocal group SHOW-WA (昭和リバイバルプロジェクト, Shōwa Ribaibaru Purojekuto) for Fuji TV's lunchtime news program POKAPOKA (ぽかぽか).
In addition, Wellness Entertainment and Booming have partnered on the new the entertainment production company "Office Lekkazan" (オフィスレッカザン, Ofisu Rekkazan) to handle sales and marketing of the record and be in charge of artist management for Lekkazan 3rd.
