Bandai celebrates the 20th anniversary of ULTRAMAN NEXUS (ウルトラマンネクサス, Urutoraman Nekusasu, 2004-05) with a new release in their capsule toy line. Part of the "Ultimate Luminous" series that includes a toy with a light up feature (this time, a demolished building), the new set offers Ultraman Nexus in his Junis Blue form plus new blue versions of the Chrome Chester α/β/γ and Strike Chester vehicles from the NEXUS show. Also included is a Astra Red Color Timer Ver. figure of Astra from ULTRAMAN LEO (ウルトラマンレオ, Urutoraman Reo, 1974-75), a series now celebrating its 50th anniversary.

The "Ultimate Luminous Ultraman 21" toys are now available at Gashapon Bandai Official Shop specialty stores for Bandai's new Gashapon products, toy stores, mass merchandisers, and electronics stores throughout Japan.

Gashapon (ガシャポン) is a best-selling Bandai toy brand named after the capsule containing a toy that "pops" out when the handle is turned on a "gasha" (vending machine). Since the brand's launch in 1977, it has produced a rich lineup of products that match the trends of the times, with many sets and series featuring a variety of beloved anime and tokusatsu characters.
