Tsuburaya Productions has provided SciFi Japan with their press release announcing ULTRAMAN ARC THE MOVIE: THE CLASH OF LIGHT AND EVIL (ウルトラマンアークTHE MOVIE 超次元大決戦！光と闇のアーク, Urutoraman  Āku THE MOVIE Chō Jigen Daikessen! Hikari to Yami no Āku), presented here in both English and Japanese.

The main cast of the popular TV series ULTRAMAN ARC (ウルトラマンアーク, Urutoraman  Āku, 2024), which is broadcast every Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. JST on TV Tokyo's six affiliated stations and streamed worldwide at the same time, as well as the main cast of the previous series, ULTRAMAN BLAZAR (ウルトラマンブレーザー, Urutoraman Burēzā, 2023-24), and Takanori Tsujimoto, gathered together for the “Ultraman Arc & Blazar Online Roundtable” (ウルト ラマンアーク&ブレーザー オンライン座談会, Urutoraman Āku & Burēzā Onrain Zadankai). During the roundtable discussion, the decision to release an ULTRAMAN ARC movie was announced by Yuki Totsuka, who plays the show's main character, Yuma Hize. A teaser trailer was also shown at the same time.

 

ULTRAMAN ARC THE MOVIE: THE CLASH OF LIGHT AND EVIL will be released in theaters across Japan on Friday, February 21, 2025.

ULTRAMAN ARC lead director Takanori Tsujimoto returns to direct the film. The main characters will be the Hoshimoto City Branch members of “SKIP” (Scientific Kaiju Investigation and Prevention Center) from the ARC television series - Yuma Hize (played by Yuki Totsuka), Shu Ishido (Sho Kaneta), Rin Natsume (Kaho Mizutani), Hiroshi Ban (Koichiro Nishi) and the robot YouPi (voiced by Yuya Hirose).  It has been revealed that the famous actor Naoto Takenaka (SHALL WE DANCE?, CYBORG SHE, KAMEN RIDER GHOST) will also appear in the film. What role will he play in this story?

“Ultraman Arc & Blazar Online Roundtable” Discussion

In ULTRAMAN ARC Episode 19: THE TRANSCENDING WISH (超える想い, Koeru Omoi), which was broadcast and streamed the morning of November 23 (Japan time), Ultraman Arc and Ultraman Blazar successfully crossed between worlds to battle side-by-side. To commemorate the meeting of these two great heroes, that episode was immediately followed by a special talk show on the official Ultraman Japanese subscription digital service TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION. That same day, the special was uploaded to the ULTRAMAN Official YouTube Channel (Japanese language only) at 1:00 p.m. JST.

The “Ultraman Arc & Blazar Online Roundtable” was MC'd by comedian and actor Akira 100%, who made guest appearances in the ARC series as the friendly alien Numata. He was joined by director Takanori Tsujimoto, the stars of ULTRAMAN ARC -- Yuki Totsuka, Sho Kaneta, Kaho Mizutani, Koichiro Nish -- and the main cast of ULTRAMAN BLAZAR -- Tomoya Warabino (who played lead character Gento Hiruma), Himena Tsukimiya (Emi Aobe), Konomi Naito (Anri Minami), Hayate Kajihara (Yasunobu Bando), and Yuki Ito (Teruaki Nagura). Not wanting to confuse or upset young children, Tsuburaya alerted parents in advance that the cast members would be appearing as themselves rather than their characters.

『ウルトラマンアーク&ブレーザー オンライン座談会』

本日あさ 9 時から放送・配信された『ウルトラマンアーク』第 19 話「超える想い」にて、作品の世界線を飛び越え、感動の共闘を見 事に果たしたウルトラマンアークとウルトラマンブレーザー(公式 YouTube にて見逃し配信公開中)。
