Nippon Broadcasting System Project Co., Ltd. has announced pre-orders for pure gold plates depicting 3 popular characters from the original ULTRAMAN (ウルトラマン 空想特撮シリーズ, Urutoraman Kūsō Tokusatsu Shirīzu, 1966-67) television series printed on 1g of pure gold.
These made-to-order collectibles will have a limited production run of 100 serial-numbered plates for each character (serial number cannot be selected). They come packaged in a paulownia (hardwood) box emblazoned with the ULTRAMAN logo, inside a special sleeve (with its own foil-stamped logo).
Customers who purchase 3 gold plates at the same time will receive a bonus "Fantasy Special Effects Series Ultraman" special acrylic display frame. The frame is not for sale separately.
