Toei has provided information and pics for WONDERFUL PRECURE! THE MOVIE! (わんだふるぷりきゅあ！ざ・むーびー！ドキドキ♡ゲームの世界で大冒険!, Wandafuru Purikyua! za Mubi! Dokidoki ♡ Gēmu no Sekai de Daibōken!), the 33rd PreCure (aka Pretty Cure) feature film. The movie opens in Japanese cinemas this Friday, September 13th.

INTRODUCTION

Since the television anime PRETTY CURE (ふたりはプリキュア, Futari wa Purikyua) began airing on February 1, 2004, the PreCure series has continued to depict the story of girls who never give up and work hard, even when they face difficulties. Dreaming, forgiving others, believing in your friends, working hard and being positive... the series continues to convey these unchanging and important thoughts, capturing the hearts of many people.

Last year marked the 20th anniversary of PreCure, and there were events such as the "All PreCure Exhibition - 20th Anniversary Memories" (全プリキュア展～20th Anniversary Memories, Zen Purikyua-ten ～20th Anniversary Memories) and the film PRETTY CURE ALL STARS F THE MOVIE (映画プリキュアオールスターズＦ, Eiga Purikyu Aōrusutāzu Efu) which recorded the highest box office results in the series' history.

The 21st year of the TV series marks a new page in history!

The 21st series, WONDERFUL PRECURE! (わんだふるぷりきゅあ!, Wandafuru Purikyua!, 2024), which inherits the feelings of the past 20 years and steps into a new stage, is based on the motif of animals, and the first dog Precure in the series' history is born! The theme is the bond that transcends the barriers of species, that "humans and animals can all become friends!", and the heartfelt exchange of feelings for someone important to each other.

Set in Animal Town, a place where people live together with animals, the story is a heartwarming story of the Precure working together to return animals who have been turned into mysterious creatures called "Garugaru", whose hearts have been dyed black and gone berserk, to their original forms.

The latest movie full of super wonderful!

In the latest movie, WONDERFUL PRECURE! THE MOVIE! , Precure leaves Animal Town and and takes part in the world of games! As they struggle to get back home from the game world they got lost in, they are joined by Precure from the past series of SOARING SKY! PRECURE (ひろがるスカイ！プリキュア, Hirogaru Sukai! Purikyua, 2023-24) and WITCHY PRETTY CURE! (魔法つかいプリキュア!, Mahōtsukai Purikyua!, 2016-17), so it's a very exciting movie!

Not only that, but the game world is made in full CG. The special character designs that are different from the WONDERFUL PRECURE! TV series and the three-dimensional action scenes that are full of speed and realism, realized by making full use of CG, are also highlights of the film. And the various games that are played are also a must-see!

In addition, "Friend Rings" will be distributed to moviegoers to make the experience even more fun (limited to admissions of junior high school students and younger). By wearing a "Friend Ring" while watching the movie and cheering on PreCure, you can enjoy a special experience that makes you feel as if you are a part of the story.

The guest voice actors are also super wonderful! The role of Natsuki, the game's developer and a key player in the film, is played by Kana Hanazawa , a national popular voice actress! She will portray the somewhat mysterious Natsuki with a wide range of expressiveness. In addition, the roles of Ponta and Pokota, the mysterious raccoon duo that PreCure meets in the game world, will be played by JaruJaru (Junpei Goto and Shusuke Fukutoku), a comedy duo with 21 years of experience, the same as PreCure. The wide range of acting skills they have cultivated through comedy sketches are still alive and well in their voice acting. Their perfectly coordinated acting will make the movie even more exciting!

STORY

Komugi, Iroha, Yuki, Mayu, Daifuku, and Satoru gather to play the popular game "Doki Doki♡Tanuki Kingdom"!

Everyone starts the game together! But...it seems like they've been sucked into the game's world, where there are suspicious tanuki...

And now they're in even more trouble! Komugi has been separated from Iroha and the others...!?

"I want to be by Iroha's side forever and ever!"
To meet her beloved Iroha, Komugi decides to challenge herself to various game battles!

How did this happen...? What is the secret hidden in the game world...? The clue is held by Natsuki, the girl who created the game.

Soaring Sky! PreCure and Witchy Pretty Cure! also gather together!

When everyone's feelings become one, a wonderful miracle will occur!
