Bandai Namco Filmworks has provided information and images for THEATER OMNIBUS: YOHANE THE PARHELION -SUNSHINE IN THE MIRROR- (劇場総集編 幻日のヨハネ -SUNSHINE in the MIRROR-, Gekijō Sōshūhen Genjitsu no Yohane -SUNSHINE in the MIRROR-), a compilation of the 2023 anime series that spun-off from the popular “Love Live!" franchise. The movie will receive a limited 3-week theatrical release in Japan starting November 29th.

YOHANE THE PARHELION reimagines the school idol Yoshiko Tsushima from LOVE LIVE! SUNSHINE!! Sanshain!!, 2016-17) as Yohane, a young fortune teller.

    Story

A young girl named Yohane grew up in Numazu, a harbor town surrounded by the roar of the sea and the whispers of the forest.

She dreamed of “becoming big” and flies off to “Tokai”, but her dream fails to take off and she returns home to Numazu in disappointment.

In a town where she thought there was nothing, she searches for what she really wants to do.

    What is LOVE LIVE!?

The Love Live! series is a multi-media project launched in 2010 that depicts high school girls fulfilling their dreams through “school idol” activities. The project is engaged in a wide range of activities, including broadcasting TV anime depicting the members' stories and holding live events featuring performers as Love Live! characters.

The first anime series, LOVE LIVE! School idol project, Rabu Raibu! Sukuru Aidoru Purojekuto, 2013-14) was followed by several TV series, OVAs and feature films, including LOVE LIVE! THE SCHOOL IDOL MOVIE The School Idol Movie, Rabu Raibu! The School Idol Movie, 2015), LOVE LIVE! SUNSHINE!!, LOVE LIVE! Nijigasaki Gakuen Sukūru Aidoru Dōkō-kai, 2020-22), LOVE LIVE! SUPER STAR!! Sūpāsutā!!, 2021-) and NIJIYON ANIMATION (にじよん あにめーしょん, Nijiyon Animeshon, 2023).

A completely new original stage production, “School Idol Musical,” received favorable reviews at its premiere, and an additional performance was held in August. And starting this past October, "Love Live! Series Asia Tour 2024 ~Making it Happen Together~” is being held in Guangzhou, Shanghai, Taipei, Seoul, and Yokohama.

In addition to THEATER OMNIBUS: YOHANE THE PARHELION -SUNSHINE IN THE MIRROR-,  2024 saw the release of NIJIYON ANIMATION 2 in April, LOVE LIVE! NIJIGASAKI HIGH SCHOOL IDOL CLUB CHAPTER 1 in September, the third season of LOVE LIVE! SUPER STAR!! starting in October, and the first live-action series, LOVE LIVE! SCHOOL IDOL MUSICAL THE DRAMA Sukuuru Aidoru Myuujikaru the Drama) airing in November.
