Author Izuru Yumizuru transferred the property to OVERLAP following a lengthy dispute with publisher Media Factory, which had kept the Infinite Stratos light novel series on hold since the release of Volume 7 in April 2011. OVERLAP will pick up the series with IS ?Infinite Stratos? Volume 8, scheduled for release on April 25th.
