Based on RESIDENT EVIL, one of the bestselling video game franchises of all time, VENDETTA is the action-packed third installment in the state-of-the-art CG animated franchise from executive producer Takashi Shimizu (director of JU-ON/THE GRUDGE), director Takanori Tsujimoto (BUSHIDO MAN, THE NEXT GENERATION -PATLABOR-, ULTRAMAN X), screenwriter Makoto Fukami (PSYCHO-PASS, THE TORTURE CLUB) and composer Kenji Kawai (GHOST IN THE SHELL, THE NEXT GENERATION -PATLABOR-). Featuring the return of fan favorite characters Chris Redfield (Kevin Dorman) and Leon S. Kennedy (Matthew Mercer) as well as the film debut of Rebecca Chambers (Erin Cahill), the film follows the trio as they aim to stop the spread of a deadly virus that threatens to destroy New York City. RESIDENT EVIL: VENDETTA opens in Japanese cinemas on May 27. The film comes to select movie theaters across the US and Canada for a special one-night event on June 19. It debuts on digital June 20, with the 3-Disc 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray Combo Pack, 2-disc Blu-ray and DVD release scheduled for July 18.
