In 2015, Bandai halted their main line of “Ultra Hero 500” and "Ultra Monster 500" soft vinyl figures to make way for subsets devoted to ULTRAMAN X (???????, Urutoraman Ekkusu, 2015) and ULTRAMAN ORB (?????????, Urutoraman Oobu, 2016). Now, as a tie-in with the ULTRAMAN ZERO THE CHRONICLE (???????? THE CHRONICLE, Urutoraman Zero THE CHRONICLE, 2017) television show, the Ultra Hero 500 and Ultra Monster 500 series resume with Zero`s friends and foes plus reissues of some figures previously released under the “Ultra Hero X” imprint. Additional releases for March and April 2017 include new larger scale Ultra BIG and Ultra Monster DX figures.
