Source: Bandai Co., Ltd. Official Site: bandai.co.jp/candy/ultra In August 2015, Bandai launched a new line of Ultraman candy toys (toys or figures packaged with candy or gum). The ULTRA BORG (???????, Urutoraboogu) series offers poseable, pre-painted action figures of heroes and villains from the Ultra Series, done in a "mechanical" style. The toys can transform into vehicles and have interlocking joints that can be mixed and matched to create original designs. The second series of ULTRA BORG will be released in March 2016 and features four characters from the ULTRA SEVEN (???????, Urutora Sebun, 1967-1968) television series. Ultra Seven can become an armored car with a drill, Eleking a crane truck, Windom a fighter, and Nurse a battleship resembling Iron Rocks (another robot foe of Ultra Seven). Made for children (and collectors) ages 3 and older, each figure stands 60mm and comes with a piece of soda flavor gum. The boxed ULTRA BORG toys are sold separately and also in cases of 10 randomly assorted figures.
