Bay Area Film Events, CinemaSF and SciFi Japan have an update for ULTRAFEST, the 3-day Ultraman film festival coming to the 4-Star Theater in San Francisco the weekend of July 21-23. Authorized by Tsuburaya Productions, Starlight Runner and The Licensing Group, the event will include screenings of Ultraman movies and episodes, special guests, merchandise dealers, an art gallery and more!
The complete theater screening lineup should be announced next week, with ticket sales launching shortly thereafter. As previously announced, the screenings will include new 4K compilations from Tsuburaya of the original ULTRAMAN series. The award-winning hit SHIN ULTRAMAN (2022) will be shown Saturday night, with attendees receiving a free poster for the movie.
Continuing the SHIN ULTRAMAN fun, MaxToy is producing a licensed, show exclusive Shin Ultraman figure that will only be available for purchase at ULTRAFEST. The production is limited to 30 figures so make sure to get yours early!
RRParksCARDS, makers of the official Ultraman card sets, has provided an ULTRAFEST exclusive Alien Baltan collectors card by artist Gaz Gretsky. The cards will be given out free to all attendees (while supplies last).
Ultraman fans are invited to submit their artwork for the ULTRAFEST Art Gallery. Full details can be found here. Share your art with your fellow fans!
