As the latest Ultraman show, ULTRAMAN TAIGA (?????????, Urutoraman Taiga), completes its broadcast run on TV Tokyo, the next Japanese home video release has been announced by Tsuburaya Productions. ULTRAMAN TAIGA Blu-ray Box II [????????? Blu-ray BOX II], containing Episodes 14-25 of the series plus a Special Disc of exclusive bonus features, will be available on February 27, 2020. The key extra for Blu-ray Box II is a "father and son" discussion between Saburo Shinoda (who starred in ULTRAMAn TARO as Kotaro Higashi) and Yuki Inoue (who plays Hiroyuki Kudo, the human host for Taro`s son, ULtraman Taiga). Also included are featurettes, commentaries and 12 chapters of an audio drama episode with a bonus episode, recorded exclusively for this set. ULTRAMAN TAIGA Blu-ray Box I -- containing the first half of the series -- is scheduled for December 25, 2019. Six rental DVD volumes of ULTRAMAN TAIGA will also be released, two per month, starting on that date.
