The movie ULTRAMAN TRIGGER: EPISODE Z (ウルトラマントリガー エピソードＺ, Urutoraman Torigā Episōdo Zetto), following the story of the ULTRAMAN TRIGGER: NEW GENERATION TIGA (ウルトラマントリガー NEW GENERATION TIGA, Urutoraman Torigā Nyū Jenerēshon Tiga, 2021-22) series, will have its international premiere today. This story acts as an epilogue, set two years after the events of Trigger’s final battle against Megalothor, and will answer mysteries left in the wake of that struggle. What brings Kengo Manaka/Ultraman Trigger (Raiga Terasaka) back, and why Ultraman Z is once again fighting the forces of evil alongside Trigger?
In Japan, EPISODE Z will be released theatrically and also available VOD from the TSUBURAYA IMAGINATION subscription streaming service. Internationally, fans can catch the film on Ultraman Connection with optional subtitles in English, Thai, Indonesian, Malaysian, Brazilian Portuguese, South American Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and Korean. Ultraman Connection is offering "screening only" VOD tickets for $4.99 (full price after the promotion will be $6.99). For $11.98 fans can access the Ultraman Connection Watch Party - Ultraman Trigger: Episode Z Event & Screening at 9:00pm EST/6:00pm PST, which includes the film, a live watch party with in-studio cast members Raiga Terasaka, Runa Toyoda (Yuna Shizuma/Yuzare), Shunya Kaneko (Akito Hijiri) and Kohshu Hirano (Haruki Natsukawa/Ultraman Z), and a special post-screening discussion with additional details from the guests.
The Ultraman Connection Watch Party - Ultraman Trigger: Episode Z bundle can be pre-ordered now from ultramanconnection.com. For pre-order rentals, ULTRAMAN TRIGGER: EPISODE Z will be available to watch for 30 days starting March 18th. Once playback begins, the rental will remain active for 48 hours.

ULTRAMAN TRIGGER: EPISODE Z SUMMARY
Two years have passed since the final battle and peace has been restored around the globe. However, things don’t stay quiet for long when monsters once again begin to appear on Earth. At the same time, a series of mysterious break-ins take place at super ancient ruins around the world. Expert team GUTS-Select, led by a new captain (Yuichi Nakamura), prepares the squad to launch an investigation. Little do they know, it is the beginning of a fierce battle with the fate of the universe in the balance.
GUTS-Select and Ultraman Z (Zett) rush into battle with Kengo Manaka in the lead. A sinister figure emerges from the shadows: Evil Trigger, a sinister giant that inherits the shadow.
To make everyone smile again, Ultraman Trigger and Haruki (played by Kohshu Hirano), human host of Ultraman Z, join forces with the new members of GUTS-Select as well as Ignis (Kei Hosogai), human host of Trigger Dark, will take part in the ultimate battle between light and shadow!
