A SCIFI JAPAN EXCLUSIVE
The Japanese toy company X-Plus Co., Ltd. has provided SciFi Japan with information and high-res photos of their giant monster figures scheduled for release in late October 2015. X-Plus` monster figures can be purchased directly from the company`s official Shounen Ric website. Shounen Ric offers Limited Editions of the figures with exclusive features or bonus pieces not available from other retailers. The standard versions of the figures are sold by stores and online retailers including amazon.com, amazon.co.jp and SFJ`s sponsor Anime Jungle.

X-Plus` Toho Large Monster Series has released figures of some of the monster designs used in the film, including Godzilla, Minilla, Anguirus, Gorosaurus, Kumonga and King Ghidorah. Now fans will be a step closer to completing their DESTROY ALL MONSTERS lineup with a 2-figure set of Manda and Mothra. X-Plus has already released a Manda figure based on the monster`s introductory film, ATRAGON (????, Kaitei Gunkan, 1963). The new "second generation" Manda depicts the simplified facial design as seen in DAM, most notably in the sequence when the beast destroys the Tokyo Monorail. The figure is sculpted in a twisted snakelike pose measuring 46cm (approximately 18 inches), but has a total length of almost 83cm (32.6 inches) from nose to tail. The larva Mothra has a total length of 23cm (approximately 9 inches), and comes with mandibles that can be opened and closed. Both figures come with support stands resembling boulders from the monster gathering at Mt. Fuji sequence from the movie. The DESTROY ALL Completion Set Vol. 1 is sold exclusively online by Shounen Ric and will not be available from retail stores.
