Written by legendary studio founder Hayao Miyazaki and directed by Goro Miyazaki, FROM UP ON POPPY HILL marks the first feature film collaboration between father and son. The English language version features the voices of Sarah Bolger (ONCE UPON A TIME), Anton Yelchin (STAR TREK), Gillian Anderson (THE X-FILES), Christina Hendricks (MAD MEN), Jamie Lee Curtis (TRUE LIES), Beau Bridges (THE FABULOUS BAKER BOYS), Ron Howard (AMERICAN GRAFFITI), Aubrey Plaza (PARKS AND RECREATION) and Bruce Dern (BIG LOVE).
