NEW INITIAL D THE MOVIE LEGEND 3 concludes the film trilogy which updates the story of Shuichi Shigeno`s Initial D (???D, Inisharu Dii) manga that has sold 48.6 million copies. The first film, NEW INITIAL D THE MOVIE LEGEND 1 -AWAKENING- (????????D?Legend1-??-, Shin Gekijoo-ban Inisharu Dii Legend 1 -Kakusei-) was released August 23, 2014 with NEW INITIAL D THE MOVIE LEGEND 2 -RACER- (????????D?Legend2-??-, Shin Gekijoo-ban Inisharu Dii Legend 2 -Toso-) following on May 23, 2015. In INITIAL D, high school student Takumi Fujiwara is a gas station attendant by day and a delivery boy for his father’s tofu shop by night.
