On January 8, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will release the action-adventure film DRAGON WARS on DVD, Blu-ray Hi-Def and PSP. Directed and written by popular Korean filmmaker Hyung Rae Shim, DRAGON WARS has taken in more $65 million combined at the US and Korean box office. The film has a run time of approximately 90 minutes and is rated PG-13 for "intense sequences of violence and creature action". The DRAGON WARS DVD will include the 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen version and the full screen version, both on the same disc. Audio options include English 5.1 and French DS, with subtitles in English, Korean, Chinese (Mandarin, Traditional), French, and Spanish. Special features are two featurettes: “5,000 Years in the Making” and “DRAGON WARS Animatics: Storyboard to Screen,” as well a conceptual art gallery. The DVD of DRAGON WARS will be available for the suggested retail price of $28.95. The Blu-ray release features DRAGON WARS in 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen. Language options and extras are identical to the DVD release. SRP is $38.95. The DRAGON WARS UMD Video for the PlayStation Portable includes the film in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen. Audio options include English and French stereo, with subtitles in English, Korean, French, and Spanish.
