The Japanese toy company X-Plus Co., Ltd. has provided SciFi Japan with information and high-res photos of their Gigantic Series: Godzilla 1954 from the original GODZILLA (???, Gojira). The figure is the latest release combining the company`s large scale “Gigantic Series” with their “Yuji Sakai Modeling Collection” line sculpted by the artist renowned for his work on the Toho films as well as hugely popular collectibles including model kits, statues, toys, books and Bandai`s S.H. MonsterArts. Standing 17 inches tall and nearly 30 inches long, Godzilla will be molded under Yuki Sakai`s supervision in order to ensure the final product will maintain the intricate details of his original sculpt. The figure is intended for fans and collectors ages 15 and up. X-Plus monster figures can be purchased directly from the company`s official Shounen Ric website. Shounen Ric offers Limited Editions of the figures with exclusive features or bonus pieces not available from other retailers.
