The movie is directed by Hisashi Kimura, who worked on the popular TRICK movie series and the television drama 99.9-CRIMINAL LAWYER- (99.9-???????-, 99.9 -Keiji Senmon Bengoshi-, 2016-18). MURDER AT SHIJINSO stars Ryunosuke Kamiki (THE GREAT YOKAI WAR, BIG MAN JAPAN, 20TH CENTURY BOYS 3: REDEMPTION, THE KIRISHIMA THING), a talented actor who, at the age of 26, already has a career spanning over 20 years. The heroine, a college student detective, is played by the popular actress Minami Hamabe (YO-KAI WATCH THE MOVIE 2016, MY LITTLE MONSTER, THE GREAT WAR OF ARCHIMEDES). STORY A college student who loves mystery novels joins his university’s Mystery Club to meet an academic requirement. The club goes on a trip to the mountains, staying at a boarding house in Shijinso. Shortly after their arrival they have to solve a real murder.
