Toho Co., Ltd. has provided SciFi Japan with press notes and high-res photos from YOU SHINE IN THE MOONLIGHT (?????????, Kimi wa Tsukiyo ni Hikarikagayaku). Based on the Dengeki Award-winning novel by Tetsuya Sano, the film is a touching romance between a high school girl suffering from an incurable illness and her classmate. YOU SHINE IN THE MOONLIGHT reunites director Sho Tsukikawa and actor Takumi Kitamura from LET ME EAT YOUR PANCREAS.

STORY Takuya (Kitamura) meets Mamizu (Mei Nagano), who is hospitalized with an incurable `luminescene disease` that illuminates her body as she approaches death. Since Mamizu can`t leave the hospital, Takumi fills her bucket list and tells her about his experiences. Gradually he falls for Mamizu, but she is near the end of her life.
