    Double Feature Streets May 13th Source: Classic Media Special Thanks to Robert Mayo and Rachel Cohen Days before the theatrical release of the new GODZILLA from Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, the original Toho classic GODZILLA (???, Gojira, 1954) -- along with the Americanized edit GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS (1956) -- will be reissued on DVD by Classic Media. In 2000, Classic Media bought the film libraries of United Productions of America and Golden Books, which included the North American rights to several of Toho`s Godzilla films plus RODAN and WAR OF THE GARGANTUAS. Classic Media renewed the license directly with Toho in 2005 and began work on DVDs featuring both the US and Japanese versions of the films as well as bonus features such as audio commentaries and trailers.
