Toei has provided information and high-res images from their superhero movie HENTAI KAMEN: THE ABNORMAL CRISIS (HK????? ????????????, HK/ Hentai Kamen Abunoomaru Kuraishisu), opening today at the Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo as well as other theaters across Japan. The film will have its North American premiere at the New York Asian Film Festival running June 22-July 5 in NYC. HENTAI KAMEN: THE ABNORMAL CRISIS is the sequel to HK / FORBIDDEN SUPER HERO (HK ????, HK Hentai Kamen, 2013), the live-action adaptation of Keishu Ando`s manga, The Abnormal Super Hero Hentai Kamen. Originally planned as a straight-to-video release, the first film was a surprise hit that grossed ¥200 million (approximately $1.8 million US) at the Japanese box office. It was also a favorite at international festivals, winning the "audience award" at the 2013 New York Asian Film Festival. ABNORMAL CRISIS reunites much of the cast and crew from FORBIDDEN SUPER HERO, including writer/director Yuichi Fukuda (I`LL GIVE MY ALL... TOMORROW, AKEGARASU) and actors Ryohei Suzuki (GATCHAMAN, TOKYO TRIBE), Fumika Shimizu (KAMEN RIDER FOURZE, RYUZO AND THE SEVEN HENCHMEN), Tsuyoshi Muro (A STORY OF YONOSUKE, SURELY SOMEDAY) and Nana Katase (DEATH NOTE II: THE LAST NAME, 20TH CENTURY BOYS trilogy). New to the cast are Ayame Misaki (ATTACK ON TITAN) and Yuya Yagira (UNFORGIVEN, GASSOH). According to Suzuki, there are plans for a trilogy of Hentai Kamen movies. STORY Kyosuke Shikijo (Ryohei Suzuki) and his girlfriend Aiko Himeno (Fumika Shimizu), and Kyosuke continues to wear Aiko`s panties on his head as the pervert superhero, Hentai Kamen. But, following a disagreement, Aiko demands the return of her underwear. At the same time, there is a worldwide disappearance of panties. Unable to transform into Hentai Kamen, Kyosuke falls into depression just as he is challenged by a dangerous new foe.
