TIGER & BUNNY "NEXT" DVD/Blu-ray Release Party in Los Angeles

Anime Jungle in Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo is hosting a TIGER & BUNNY DVD/Blu-ray release party on May 18th, 2013. Admission is free. The TIGER & BUNNY (????????) series was produced by the famed Japanese anime company, Sunrise, and follows the adventures of corporate sponsored superheroes called “NEXTs” who protect the thriving metropolis of Stern Bild City. Veteran hero Kotetsu T. Kaburagi (AKA Wild Tiger) and hotheaded new rookie Barnaby Brooks, Jr. (nicknamed Bunny by Kotetsu) are forced to team up not only to protect the city, but to win the title “King of Heroes" on the hit reality show, Hero TV. TIGER & BUNNY Set 1 contains Episodes 1-13 of the series. The DVD Set offers English (dubbed) and Japanese (English subtitled) 2.0 stereo audio options as well as bonus features including production art and the original Japanese trailer. The Blu-ray edition features 1080p High Definition video, English and Japanese DTS-HD Audio as well as English subtitles, a special Making of TIGER & BUNNY segment, logo and production art, and the original Japanese trailer for the series. During the release party, Anime Jungle will be selling both sets at 25% off the SRP (DVD: $33.62, Blu-ray: $41.22). In addition, selected TIGER & BUNNY merchandise will be discounted. A free Jungle exclusive promotional 18 x 24 inch poster will be given away with over $30.00 TIGER & BUNNY merchandise purchases over $30.00. Special Guest for the event will be Wally Wingert, voice actor for Wild Tiger (and numerous other anime and cartoon shows). Wingert will take part in a TIGER & BUNNY Panel and autograph signing. Fans are invited to dress up as their favorite characters. A Cosplay Photo Booth will be available at the party. There will also be a "Show Us Your NEXT Power Contest". Jungle wants fans to show some unique talent -- silly, amazing, or strange -- that makes them special. Please visit the Event Site for an entry form and a list of prizes.
