Koala's March Godzilla 70th Anniversary T-Shirts Go On Sale Monday

The Japanese confectionary company Lotte Co., Ltd.is best known for "Koala's March," a cookie/biscuit confectionary featuring the company's mascot, March the Koala. Initially released with a chocolate cream filliing, Koala's March is now available in multiple flavors including strawberry and white milk chocolate. The cookies are can be purchased at stores throughout Asia plus the United States, Australia and other countries.

In Japan, Lotte has partnered with Toho Co., Ltd. for a special promotion commemorating the 70th anniversary of Godzilla. The celebration includes the "Koala's March Set with Godzilla Collaboration T-Shirt" (＜ゴジラコラボTシャツ＞付きコアラのマーチセット, < Gojira Korabo Tīshatsu >-Tsuki Koara no Māchi Setto) collection which will be sold exclusively on the Lotte Online Shop starting at noon JST on Monday, February 17th. The limited edition shirts depict March the Koala as Godzilla and other Toho monsters.

Fans can choose from five designs with March the Koala dressed as monsters from various eras of the Godzilla series, including the original Godzilla from GODZILLA (ゴジラ, Gojira, 1954), Mechagodzilla from the Showa classic GODZILLA VS. MECHAGODZILLA (ゴジラ対メカゴジラ, Gojira Tai Mekagojira, 1974), Mothra from the Hesiei film GODZILLA VS. MOTHRA (ゴジラVSモスラ, Gojira vs. Mosura - aka GODZILLA AND MOTHRA: THE BATTLE FOR EARTH, 1992), Shin Godzilla from Reiwa hit SHIN GODZILLA (シン・ゴジラ, Shin Gojira, 2016), and Godzilla -1.0 from the most recent Toho film, the acclaimed GODZILLA MINUS ONE (ゴジラ-1.0/ゴジラマイナスワン, Gojira Mainasu Wan, 2023). Each are sold separately. Orders come with one package of Koala's March cookies (chocolate filling only).
