As part of their celebration of the worldwide release of their anime series GAMERA -Rebirth-  (ガメラ リバース, Gamera Ribāsu) on Netflix, Kadokawa Corporation is taking part in Gamera-themed collaborations with popular creators. First up was "Mini-Gamera" (ミニガメラ), with cute SD-style versions of Gamera and his foes by manga artist Penguin Box. The second project was a collaboration with the comedy manga Nights with a Cat (夜は猫といっしょ, Yoru wa Neko to Issho) by Kyuryu Z.

For the third collaboration, Kadokawa has circled back to Penguin Box for a crossover with the artist's hit baby shark manga, Odekake Kozame (おでかけ子ザメ). This series, which depicts the heartwarming daily life of a little shark, began as a short story posted on social media. It quickly attracted a strong following with Penguin Box's official X (Twitter) page having more than 380,000 followers. The manga has been collected in three volumes by Kadokawa, with the fourth scheduled for release in Japan on October 26. It has also been adapted as an anime for the official YouTube channel.

For the GAMERA -Rebirth- collaboration, Penguin Box has created a special manga entitled Gamera vs Baby Zamera (ガメラVS子ザメラ, Gamera vs Ko Zamera), which is now available on his official X page. An animated version can also be viewed on the official YouTube page. In addition, two visuals have been released depicting the "cute" monsters.
