Product Info and High-Res Photos, Direct from X-Plus! Source: X-Plus Co., Ltd. Special Thanks to Jun Umeji The Japanese collectibles company X-Plus Co., Ltd. has provided SciFi Japan with information and high-res photos of their upcoming coin banks of monsters from the Gamera and Ultraman franchises. The new banks bring together two recently-announced additions to X-Plus` giant monster product lines. The FAVORITE SCULPTORS LINE is scheduled to launch in May with a Tsuburaya 30cm Series figure of the ULTRAMAN ACE villain Vakishim, and will offer soft vinyl figures based on previously released/limited edition models from top sculptors. The DefoReal Series premieres in June with a Godzilla (2016) 4th Form figure, and will blend the popular “Super Deformed” style -- cute figures with large heads, squat, chubby bodies and stubby limbs -- with more realistic features. The SD proportions on the coin banks are less extreme than those of the Godzilla 2016 figure. The FAVORITE SCULPTORS LINE DefoReal Coin Banks are now available for pre-order from stores and online retailers including SFJ`s sponsors Anime Jungle and Flossie`s Gifts & Collectibles. They can also be purchased directly from the company`s official Shounen Ric website, though there are no plans for Ric Exclusive or Limited Edition versions at this time. These items are recommended for fans and collectors ages 15 years and older.
