The latest Ultraman series focuses on two young heroes: Haruki Natsukawa (played by Kohshu Hirano), a new pilot for the anti-monster robot force “STORAGE,” and Ultraman Z, a new hero and disciple of Ultraman Zero with a passionate heart. ULTRAMAN Z will begin broadcasting on Japanese television at 9am on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Tsuburaya recently announced the theme song of ULTRAMAN Z is “Chant My Name!” by Masaaki Endoh, while the ending song is “Connect the Truth” by Nami Tamaki. Riku Asakura (played by Tatsuomi Hamada), the main character of ULTRAMAN GEED (?????????, Urutoraman J?do, 2017) will guest star in the new series.     With the constantly increasing popularity of new age videogames, developers are more than keen on expanding their budgets for the AAA games. However, the issue with expanded budgets is bigger risks. Games with bigger budgets must sell extremely well to compensate for the higher costs. And when the risk of financial failure is high, companies cannot afford bigger risks in development. That’s the reason why we see studios sticking to certain archetypes, regardless of the better game quality available today. The exponentially increasing betting on eSports is also a contributor, as punters like betting on titles which they are well aware of. So, what you get is soft science fiction, Tolkien-esque fantasy and some supernatural creatures thrown in to make it complete. The issue is the limitation in the genres you can choose from. In September of 2019, Bandai released a new card game based on the King of the Monsters, Godzilla. The game was designed and created by Ryan Miller and runs on the new Chrono Clash game system. Instead of traditional turn-based play, in this system players share a power resource track, moving the token back and forth based on the power value of the cards they play. The position of the token determines when play passes to the other player. The game includes four pre-constructed 50-card decks (one deck for each player) plus a 16-card sideboard, as well as 24 double-sized cards, 4 turn sequence cards, 4 play mats, and a multi-language play manual.
