Author Izuru Yumizuru transferred the property to OVERLAP following a lengthy dispute with publisher Media Factory, which had kept the Infinite Stratos light novel series on hold since the release of Volume 7 in April 2011. OVERLAP will pick up the series with IS ?Infinite Stratos? Volume 8, scheduled for release on April 25th. That same day, OVERLAP will also begin offering new editions of the Infinite Stratos previously published by Media Factory, starting with Volumes 1 and 2.
