Aigan Co., Ltd. (Head office: Tennoji-ku, Osaka; President: Masatoshi Sasa), manufacturer and seller of eyeglasses and hearing aids, has launched a collaboration between their "POCOP" brand, which will soon pass 1 million units in total sales, and GODZILLA MINUS ONE (ゴジラ-1.0/ゴジラマイナスワン, Gojira Mainasu Wan), the highly-anticipated latest entry in the Godzilla series. The promotion is running at Aigan stores nationwide and on Aigan's official online store.

Godzilla currently boasts a character recognition level in Japan of over 80% * so Aigan is looking to increase brand awareness for POCOP by partnering with the King of the Monsters for their "Don't worry if Godzilla steps on you!" campaign.

POCOP Product Features

POCOP are Aigan's brand of frames with a universal design that makes them easy to wear. They are manufactured from a next-generation plastic also used for aircraft and automobile parts. This makes the frames light and flexible and also provides excellent resistanc to impacts, heat, chemicals, and abrasions.

The popular POCOP line also includes the brands "POCOP AIR" and "POCOP AIRPRO" which offers the lightest models in the series. These are the targets of Godzilla-1.0 in the new collaboration.
